For decades, I have then indulged my passion whenever my job gave me time. Even on business trips, in the evening-nightly evening at the hotel bar, I sketched, drew: people faces. In the course of my many years of artistic work, I experienced the many possibilities of expression in terms of technique and also in expression - true to Picasso's motto " the secret of art is that you do not seek but find." Whether various brushes, palette knives, pencils, pastels or the bare hand - I approach the painting surface spontaneously and experimentally with everything that can hold color. In the center of my work is the human face. It gives me pleasure to vary my pictorial means again and again and to create different types of portraits. I like to work serially, yet no two sheets or canvases are alike. That's what it's all about for me. To reinvent myself again and again.
