Detailed description

Picture "Ape" (1998)

The traditional Italian cult vehicle in Tuscan light. The special feature is that the painting is painted on cardboard and covered with dozens of layers of clear varnish. This has been finely sanded and polished. The result is a homogeneous, smooth surface with almost no distracting reflections and a "depth" in the layers of paint. No print, no matter how good, will ever achieve this. The painting was realized in acrylic/mixing technique with brush and airbrush gun. The picture is framed, which shows slight signs of wear from various exhibitions where the picture has been on display.
