Picture "All over the world (1)" (2020)
The work was created at the very beginning of the Corona period: an invisible threat, and it's all over the world. A couple, positive together, with both feet on the ground. Dealing with the situation. The background of the picture, in superimposed layers, shows perspectives like windows into the past and future. There are perspectives through which the future shines.

There is a dialog between my works: you have "saved" the works you have already created, and when you create a work, the idea for the next work automatically forms in the back of your mind.
In my works, I try to make the inside visible through the outside: just as in some paintings outer landscapes are inner landscapes, my externally detailed depictions of people/things represent inner realities. People "on their way" or taking a decisive step from one stage of life to another are a recurring motif in my work.
