About Stefanie Rogge

Stefanie Rogge lives and works as a freelance artist, graphic designer and owner of the rogge advertising agency near Hanover.
In addition to abstract works, she also creates many figurative works in her studio. The abstract large-format works are mostly inspired by the coastal landscape, the light, the colors and the rough cliffs. She also likes to use collage techniques here, incorporating materials such as linen and corrugated cardboard. She uses layers and glazes to capture the charm of these landscapes. She also works expressively and impulsively in her figurative series. Here, she often addresses socio-critical themes, such as in the series "Cows coded", which criticizes how animals are treated as commodities in our consumer society. Or in the current series "AUF DER ROTEN LISTE" and "Hominidea", which deals with the climate crisis and the extinction of species. Stefanie's works hang in collections worldwide, e.g. in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Estonia, French Polynesia (Tahiti), England, Australia and the USA.
