Picture "Brigitte (Bardot) I - forte pour les plus faibles" (2022)
Mixed media work from the series "Courage Strength Resilience - Lifelines of extraordinary women". The painting was awarded 5th place in the AMERICAN ART AWARD 2023 International Art Prize. Bardot paved the way for the sexual revolution with her femininity and eroticism. She created a new image of women. After she ended her film career, she became known as an animal rights activist - the title of the work "forte pour les plus faibles" is also based on this. The collaged book pages for the background were taken from Bardot's book "Pourquoi?", furthermore acrylic paint, graphite and tissue paper were used for the portrait. The translucent book pages in her face, represent the fusion of the external appearance with our own individual ideology and thought. The work has structure through the book pages in the background and the tissue paper, the varnish is glossy.
