Picture "Baltic Sea / Ærø / Mølledamsvej" (2023)
This picture was taken on a rainy day on the Baltic coast in March. Ute Meyer painted under the tailgate of the car. In the foreground you can see ocher-colored reeds The path, lined on the sides with light green grass, leads to the beach. Stones in varying shades of gray lie along the shoreline. Dark red seaweed contrasts with the bright green seaweed on the stones in the water. The colors of the Baltic Sea range from warm grays to cool blues. The horizon line in the sky contrasts with a delicate Naples yellow from the darker water. The picture support consists of a 5 cm deep wooden box with white edges. A steel cable serves as a suspension. The edges are painted. The picture can be hung without framing. The signature is on the front.
