Picture "Jylland Boat/Baltic Sea / Borgnæs/ Ærø" (2018)
This picture was taken in early April on the beach on the Danish island e Ærø. Ute Meyer was fascinated by the contrast of the white boat to the dark, almost turquoise, blue sea. The boat, a Jylland boat, as the owner later tells us, lies upside down on the beach, framed by dry grasses. In the foreground, path traces are indicated with tufts of grass. Round stones in various shades of gray lie on the light sand. In the distance a land line can be seen. At the bottom of the light blue spring sky float a few small clouds. The picture support is a self-covered and triple primed canvas, which is equipped with a steel cable as a suspension. The edges are painted. The picture can be hung without framing.
