For me, it's those very special moments in the morning when the sun rises and the dew steams off the roses; the blossom leans towards the sun and opens. A natural spectacle in her garden that I have observed countless times and am always fascinated by. The work ROSENGARTEN tells of these intimate moments in which the glowing roses celebrate their existence and inspired me to create this work. I am also an enthusiastic gardener myself and always find many motifs in my garden and in nature. Rosengarten is painted on canvas with the best lightfast pigments, poppy seed oil, acrylic and chalk.
