Here in northern Europe, the sun is low on the horizon during the dark season and only rarely can it illuminate landscapes and nature in vibrant colors. Long shadows in the few hours of daylight and often colorless gray characterize the mood. We long for warmth and light during this time and are happy about every ray of sunlight and its warmth on clear days. We dream of long summer days and the lightness of life. This is what the "summer colors" describe and reflect this in light abstraction, color and form. They leave the art viewer the freedom to wander and feel in this sphere himself. "Summer colors" are two paintings of the same format with the same sujet (summer colors 1 - 2).
