Detailed description

Picture "Butterfly heart" (2024)

"Butterfly Heart" is inspired by the fact that nature always awakens to new life. Amidst the fleeting grace of the butterflies and the gentle power of the leaves and flowers, a woman's face peers through the vines. Her smile radiates a deep connection with nature, as if she herself were a part of it, and as if she were absorbing the secrets and beauties of her surroundings and preserving them. Technique: Highly pigmented oil paints on 2 cm thick stretcher frame. The edges are carefully painted, the work is already fitted with a stainless steel cable as a hanger. Canvas: High-quality linen/cotton mix

About Judith Riemer

Judith Riemer is a German artist from the district of Hildesheim.
She has been presenting her works in galleries, museums and at art fairs around the world since 2017. Previous highlights include exhibitions in New York and Dubai. Her art has already won several awards and been published in international magazines and art books. Her works can be found in private collections in Germany, Italy and Austria. Judith Riemer's works are characterized by an imaginative and mysterious aesthetic. They invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a multi-layered universe in which time and space remain deliberately vague. Familiar elements such as leaves, people and animals are given a new interpretation in order to reflect the true nature of things. The artist concentrates on the attentive and sensitive observation of the hidden.
