The image reveals an impressive scene of flying fire geese navigating between two contrasting worlds. On one side, the sky is dominated by looming storm clouds, which come in dense shades of gray, black and dark blue, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and tension. But on the other side, in a dramatic play of light and shadow, the sun breaks through, and its golden rays bathe the shelducks in a brilliant, warm light. The foreshore is illuminated by the sun, making the vegetation around the tideway, seem to glow golden.
