Detailed description

Picture "Resting white-cheeked geese" (2023)

In the center of the painting, nestled in an autumn-toned landscape, rest white-cheeked geese taking a break on their journey. The birds, with their characteristic white face and gray, black plumage, contrast harmoniously with the bright reds of the spring and the soft purple of the heather. The dense field of heather and quoll gives the image a warm, almost melancholic mood that captures the spirit of autumn. You can almost feel the gentle rustle of the wind through the heather and hear the soft chatter of the geese. This image is not only a snapshot of the white-cheeked geese in their natural environment, but also a representation of the transition of the seasons and the rest before the journey continues. The painting is signed on the front and back. It is also dated on the reverse.

About Julia Pasinski

Born and raised on a North Sea island, I always paint the nature on the coast and birds.
Painting nature, painting in nature and painting with nature - plein air directly on site or with fresh impressions in the studio - the sensual experience is what inspires and motivates me. Depending on the subject, I reach for the strong oil paint or paint delicate and light watercolors that have no fixed boundaries and virtually step out of themselves. Already as a teenager I received art lessons from Günther Winkler, who was a student of Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, won several prizes and participated in exhibitions on Sylt and the nearby mainland. After my studies as a graphic designer in Hamburg, I devoted myself again more to free painting. Since 2014 I exhibit regularly.
