Picture "Düsseldorf - On the promenade" (2023)
A view of Düsseldorf on the Rhine. I live here and am always drawing and painting typical places of this wonderful city and this great river. Like this picture of the Rhine promenade, a promenade directly on the Rhine. People are sitting on benches under the plane trees, a man is relaxedly pushing his bike and enjoying the summer atmosphere. Along the terrace balustrade, a woman walks along the pedestrian path that echoes the undulation of the Rhine. In the background are the Rheinknie Bridge, the city gate and the Rhine Tower. The picture radiates light and lightness. It is drawn with a loose, humorous stroke and then painted in watercolors with lively colors. Material: Waterproof ink and the finest artist's watercolors on age-resistant, natural white 220 g/m2 watercolor paper.
