The maritime diversity of colors, shapes and the complexity of nature by the sea - its power, delicacy, its rhythms, its phenomena.... - is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings. Far view at the sea: sailboats on the horizon, reflections of the sun going out on the water - an atmospheric scene in portrait format with a range of abstraction: both color and dissolved or dissolving forms and structures. The painting has painted side edges and is signed on the front bottom right by Peter Nottrott as well as dated with the year of creation.
