Picture "Moment" (2022)
A particular moment of a drive in the rain was captured here. Ulla Kutter paints in two planes and depicts the landscape with trees and a country road out of focus and blurred. In the foreground she has painted with a fine brush all the enchanting structures formed by the raindrops. Through these sweeping hieroglyphics, the picture acquires dynamism and a certain tempo. The colors are restrained - appropriate to a rainy day - chosen. The picture seems wild, beautiful and mysterious. Just by the stickers on the windshield on the right side below, the viewer learns that the perspective of the image was created from a vehicle.
