In bright oil colors Ulla Kutter has depicted a scene on the beach. Through the large raindrops on a pane in front of the action, the shapes are changed. In the drops, the background is often seen side-reversed. In the background a person is walking on the beach. The sea, beach, people and clouds are out of focus, but the drops in the foreground are sharp. Ulla Kutter thus succeeds in creating a picture with two optical levels and a fresh beach atmosphere. The picture shows a beach on the North Sea island of Borkum.
